A Plate of Art
Inspired by Two Cultures
ZURRIOLA blends the flavors of Spain’s Basque region, known for its beauty, gastronomy, and culture, with refined Japanese techniques to highlight each ingredient's essence. Every dish reflects the harmony of both cultures, creating unique, vibrant flavors inspired by Japan’s four seasons.

Bringing Out the Character
of Each Ingredient
ZURRIOLA’s owner-chef, Seiichi Honda, honed his skills in France before traveling to Spain. There, he discovered rich ingredients and simple techniques that highlighted their essence, as well as unexpected similarities between Spanish and Japanese cuisines. This shared respect for ingredients shapes his approach, blending delicate techniques with deep, harmonious flavors.

A Space for All Senses
The interior of ZURRIOLA features a modern and sophisticated design, adorned with the art of Catalan abstract pioneer Ràfols-Casamada and watercolor paintings of the Zurriola coastline in San Sebastián, where the chef once lived. The space offers 10 counter seats, 12 dining seats, and 2 private rooms for up to 4 guests each.
